so i ordered up my new flexplate (sfi approved for when i do eventually get this race worthy), tq converter adapter, my whole front end rebuild kit (need to order my drop springs still).
i'm good at running hardline, and i have a hydraulic flaring tool that flares for 37* fittings as well, so i'm going to run mostly hard line, and than run stainless where i need flex line. going to order my tanks inc set up today, new fuel tank, rear end parts, and also going to redo my brake system (new master, booster, lines, wheel cylinders, calipers, rotors, ebc pads and shoes, and bearings.
now the fun parts are starting to come. fabbing up my trans xmember, runnin all my lines, getting my electrical system finished, fuel system etc etc.
i'm looking forward to hearing her fire up for the first time!

eh for the price, id get it sandblasted and than por15 the whole frame. i already did most of the car, just need to do the rear axle area/gas tank area. if your going to por15 the frame, definately put down some masking on the ground. this stuff will not come off your concrete, awesome product though.

just picked up a temporary trans until i can build my th400 and gearvendors setup. (bein 22 and owning my house kinda kills a lil bit of my momentum). going to bolt it up w/o a torque converter for now, just so i can fire up my engine and make sure everythings good wiring wise.
on a wiring note, i got all my connectors de-pinned so i can neaten up the wires really nice (overkill i know, but i want this to look really clean)
also finished my tanks inc setup, so i'm pretty much ready to fire this bitch up. need to buy my stainless fuel lines, but for the startup i'm going to use fuel injection hose and fuel injection clamps.

That tanks inc setup is nice. Real pain to install and have everything prepped but mine is awesome and i didn't even have to cut the floor any! I ran nylon line and factory quick disconnect fittings I know you want it started but I would wait and have everything hooked up like torque converter and whatnot...that way you can just go. Wish mine wasn't knocking or else of be driving..... feels like 100 steps forward and 103 back!
