LSX Notchback Build
I figured since I am far enough into the build, I might as well fill everyone in on my progress. I've learned a ton so I can give advice and at the same time, I have a few questions that are keeping me from progressing quickly.
The car: 89 Notchback 2.3 5 spd. Red exterior Red interior No mods what so ever
In the Process: Lsx, TH400, AJE K-member, arms, mounts, coil overs, etc... the usual.
So far I have gotten a built th400, free 4.8 with 799\243 heads that I are apart and are going to be worked on a little. Also ive got an engine harness from an 08 C6 M6 LS3. All of the sensor connector seem to be the same.
I plan on building the car with this motor. Stock bottom end LS6 springs, cam, mild port, lifters. And once I find a 6.2 for the right price, ill do a simple swap. I just want to get this car running!
My question is; which pcm to go with? E38 with a 08 4.8 tune? I have access to a vette pcm out of an ls3.
Any suggestions? Going back to a 24x would make things easier but that's not an option here.
