Possible Alternator Problem??
Possible Alternator Problem?? ...While disconnecting the wire from the output pole of the LS1 alternator, I turned the pole instead of the nut holding down the wire. There isn't room to hold the inner nut so I took the chance that it would come off...and it didn't.
So, after doing the correct thing and removing the alternator, I was able to disc it properly. Did I damage any internals/break any wires. The nut prob was turned twice before I realized my mistake.
After removing the nut, it appears that the pole only screws in, but I don't know.
