Jag to gto conversion I'm looking for anyone that can throw some answers my direction regarding the LS2 engine and 4L65E.
I pulled the combo from an '06 GTO with Auto.
It's going into a '92 Jag XJS
I've pretty much got the Jag wiring work out. What I don't know much of is the GTO harness.
I have the entire engine harness and the cabin harness and gas pedal. I'm confused as to what from the cabin harness I really need. (other than the wire to pedal)
First question is:
1)Will the 4L65E run normal without the TCM?

Purchase an AllData subscription for the GTO. GEN IV wiring info is not very common on the internet currently and you most likely wont find answers to specific questions like those. Youll have to look and see for yourself
