Started stripping the interior for the upcoming cage:

Working on removing all the sound deadener from the car to get the weight below 3000lbs wet w/o driver. Also in progress is a set of 15x8 wheels, slicks, differential brace, fuel cell and twin Walbro GSL392 fuel pump setup. Looking to switch to E85 for the upcoming race season and put in a 100-150 shot of nitrous.

New wheels are on the way for my drag slicks! Also ordered twin Walbro GSL392 external pumps, twin fuel filters and a fuel cell for the car!

Been making progress on the weight reduction aspect of the car also!

Look at all the crap I can remove!

Getting started removing deadener

322whp and 333 lb-ft. Haven't gone to the track yet but I'm guessing mid to low 11's on slicks with my current weight reductions putting the car at just under 3000lbs. I'm hoping for 10.9x with a 100 shot after I get the car dialed in this spring.

Did you get the Sikky headers?

I ended up just making my own.

Well I have made a ton of progress on the car. The cage, fuel cell and firewall are in the car and ready to go. All the stock wiring has been removed and the only thing left is 6" pigtails on the connectors to things such as the headlights, tail lights and wipers. Currently in the process of rewiring the whole car to save some weight and further simplify the electronics.

However, the big thing I am working on right now is a 383 stroker with 13:1 compression and E85. Just purchased the Callies 4.00 stroke crank and H-Beam rods. Going to be using a set of Diamond pistons and ARP head studs to top everything off. Hoping for somewhere in the low 400whp range NA. Then it is time for spray!

I also recently made an adapter to mount my stock Nissan 1/8" BSP oil pressure sensor to the stock LS port. Unfortunately I need to buy ten of the fittings I made the adapter from so I have some extras.

If anyone is looking for a M16 to 1/8" BSP adapter fitting for their conversion, please PM me. I have nine of the darn fittings laying around and I can drill and tap the hole in them so I can at least get rid of them. See pictures below!

Thanks!

I plan on making a panel to cover the hole that will look similar to the automatic console.

Went to the track last week and had some really good results for my first time ever racing! Car is still breaking up quite a bit above 5,000rpm's as I believe my crank sensor magnet is set at the wrong air gap. Going to look into this a bit more as the car falls flat on it's face after 5K. Still had good results at the track launching at only 2,000 rpm's! Was running some MT ET Streets and was quite suprised I could still pull a 1.510 60' given the independent rear suspension and small side walls on the tires. Video is not of my best run as I still have not been able to get my hands on the footage for that run. I will post that video once I finally get it.
