Are you looking to use the cable on your chevelle. I have heard that it is a good fit but haven't actually seen it. If you are/do/did could you post some pics. I am working on a 71 and would like to see how it turns out if your not please just disregard.

I picked up a throttle cable from one of those vans yesterday at pull a part. It was just kind of hanging there staring at me as I was looking for a ps pump pulley so I grabbed it, hoping that vans use truck intakes so the bracket will fit the one I'm using. $4 is worth a shot to save $50.

I had an easy time using a 99 Camaro cable (non cruise control). It was the right length for me. I did build my own bracket for the cable at the TB, but if you already have the factory part it may work. IDK what a factory truck throttle cable bracket looks like.

Looks like the van cable is going to be a bit too short for me. If they have a camaro that is east to get to I might snag one of those.

I really think its worth the money for a cut to length lokar the fittings on the ends are nice aluminum and the cable end is fully adjustable on the tb side and the other end worked perfectly with my 72 pedal it really cuts out a lot of hassel
