starter and alt wiring question...

starter and alt wiring question... I'm running the MSD 6010 box now. What are you guys doing to wire up the starter, and alternator? I heard that the starter has some sort of magnetic solenoid that makes it run after you let off the key.
Details would be very helpful.

Your question is very general. Figure out what you have like:
What LS engine/starter.
What style of alt.
Do some searches, there are plenty of posts on these subject. One that you will not find, due to how it's named is my post called "electrical issue". It turned out to be a alt wiring problem... it should get you going.
