6.0 to powerglide ???

6.0 to powerglide ???

I'm building an 89 camaro with a 6.0 out of and 03 express van it was originally mated to a 4l80e I want to mate it to a powerglide. I've read numerous posts on this as far as using this flywheel or this spacer etc etc.. However I'm still a little confused. On summit when you type in the hughes flywheel number it tells you that you also need there spacer. I need to know what I need as far as a flywheel or spacer I know the two will bolt together no problem.

if the 6.0 came with the flywheel from the 4l80e it may have the spacer some of them were adapted like that I believe? don't quote me on it though

My 02 Lq4 came with the spacer on the flywheel, unfortunately I scrapped it on Monday. Sorry.

That would be sweet seeing a new flywheel is $200 plus. Thanks for the quick responses I'll have to check and see if I have the spacer already.

With the adapter, you use a SBC 1pc RMS flexplate. If you have a 6.0, you have the spacer. Only 99-00 6.0's did not have the spacer, but it was cast into their crankshaft
