Oil Line Adapter?

Default Oil Line Adapter?

First I have SEARCHED and no one seems to say which adapter to use just that you need one.

Which one of these adapter is needed to put my oil line behind the intake?

And Is there going to be a problem getting rid of the stock switch as far as the PCM is concerned? My engine and PCM was out of a 03 avalanche.

You dont need to use the port behind the intake, drill and tap the piece above the oil filter.

The 16 mm one is the one you need. The ECM does not use the original one. It went to the BCM and is not used for any engine control functions. The original location is a much better location for the sender than down by the oil filter. Way less chance of the wires getting burned up by the exhaust headers.

Will an autometer electric sender even fit back there? I would think you would get a more accurate reading closer to the filter but idk for sure.

case, no. I have the Autometer sender in my 55 Chevy..Putting it in the back of the block creates problems w/ the stock truck intake, the cam sensor, and the firewall.
So, it's on top of the x-over cover at the filter.

Yea its a tight fit even for the stock sender, i guess it wont matter if he goes mechanical with the gauge though

Here is a pic of the Autometer sender on my C2 Vette.

With the right fittings, I see no reason that you could not put one on almost any car. If the engine was right up against the firewall, it might be a problem, but otherwise, is should fit fine.
