crappy cell phone pic but.... motor mounts are done (custom made using Energy Suspension polyurethane mounts), cross member modded and welded, motor is in, now time to start making the headers

^^^ and yes, those are 350z Track Edition forged wheels made by Rays Engineering, 18x8 and 18x8.5 (ok for daily driving but i am going to get some nice Welds or similar with ET streets for weekends and track lol)

Ok, progress has been slow but here's a few updates:

Just purchased z32 brakes, front is 30mm aluminum calipers with new pads and new drilled/slotted rotors. Will be picking up the rear brakes from a friend.

Shipped directly from Japan: OEM s14 silvia k's wing

Tommy started on making the custom headers but having a hard time making them equal length so ordered more bends with tighter angles.

Ill post up some new pics when I get a chance.

good things in this thread. I plan to do a similar swap next year in my '95 but will keep the Zenki front-end.

that Tilton master cylinder fit in the 240?, I was going to get a tilton master cyl, but its a really tight fit for a master cylinder between the fire wall and strut tower.

Looks like a Q45 diff you got there, Is that a Q45 axle in the pic or a 300zx?

Just curious why the center of the axle flares out in the middle.

Nissan LS240:

Yes, the Tilton master cylinder fit perfect. I believe they revised it and made the new cylinders a lot shorter than their older ones. I'll take a pic of it and post it so you can see the fitment.

Cunningham:

You are correct sir, it is a q45 vlsd. In order to run the q45 diff you need to use a q45 axle and a z32 tt axle. The z32 tt axles are very rare and I couldn't find one anywhere, so I took my other q45 axle to a shop and they shortened it to the same length as a z32 tt axle, that is why it is thicker in the center.
