When I had the exhaust done the fabricator ending up making me one that i liked a little better than the aje.

Also the converter is broken in and the car is getting a full dyno tune tomorrow. I should have some numbers thursday night or friday. I dont have a video camera so I cant really record any videos. Unless I use my phone i guess lol. Ill try to some more pics and videos somehow though.

What about your driving impressions, does it tear it up, was all this worth it? Is it going to emarass alot of 5.0's in your area or what

Well i havent really drove it ***** out yet since it needs a tune. But my impressions are that its 110% worth it. I should be pushing around 380 rwhp after the tune. I just dropped off the car and will have it back tomorrow afternoon.

I can say for sure that even if I would have left the engine stock it would tear up a 5.0. I actually drove my 87 fox last night and its not near the car this one is. In my area theres really not a lot of 5.0s that are making more than 300-320 rwhp so ill probably be running better cars. Im sure ill get the occassional *** kicking by a fox but i dont think it will be often lol.

Im not really a die hard ford or chevy guy but I would do this swap again in a heartbeat. If I ever want to make serious power it would be way cheap on the lsx platform than if i was trying to do it on my 5.0.

Still no videos but the car is running. Ive had some little issues come up here and there but nothing major. The final numbers are a bit disappointing at 322hp 320tq on a dynapack dyno. But it is an auto with 4.10s and a 3200 stall so im losing some to that. The car feels like it runs very strong, quicker than the numbers indicate.

I have yet to do any hard launches or take it to the track but the car moves, thats for sure. I've got just over 1000 miles on her and im got a ported throttle body on the way, an 85mm maf sitting here and going to order an underdrive pulley this week. Hopefully ill pick up another 15-25 hp with this.

The engine has had some weird things going on. The stock injectors maxed out on the first tune at 5k rpms. I upgraded to 42lb injectors to give me room to grow and got a retune. Now the current maf is getting close to maxing out at 3k rpms so the tuner suggested I upgrade and take it back in.

Little things are expected with this type of build but its worth it in the end. LIke I didnt think your stock injectors would be maxed out i dont see how in hell your maxing out a stock maf at 322rwhp. There are guys making over 400 on stock mafs.

No idea here either. Its not completely maxing (the maf) but the tuner said it comes very close at 3k rpms and wouldnt be a bad idea to get an 85mm. This engine has acted a littler weird in those aspects but no one has been able to tell me why. Even the tuner thought the car should be getting more than 322rwhp and tried street tuning it too thinking there was something going on that he didnt see in the dyno. But autos arent dyno queens and he said everything else looked fine.

just wondering - were you able to run a true dual 3" with the aje? or is that the reason why you swapped it out?

Not quite following......I swapped k member for ease of installation basically. The collector on kooks headers is 3" and I could have ran 3" all the way but dont need it for the power im making. From the headers it goes to a venturi reducer to 2.5" and is 2.5" the rest of the way. The tailpipes have 3" tips but only because thats how the magnaflow exhaust came. And yes its true duals with an x pipe.
