Just think how quick it would be with a set of AFR, TFS heads & a ported fast. Easy
60 -70rwhp more depending on compression. I had a 437rwhp. 331 stroker n/a 93 lx & I was running mid 10's with it because it only weighed 2,780lb. & the suspension geometry on fox stangs is killer. With 4:30 gears & slicks, your car will pull the front tires. Awesome build. Keep us posted!

Just read all this, nice build. Any updates? Was wondering if you were having any water pump belt slippage at all?

Man I havent visited this thread in a long while lol. I havent had any issues with the belt slipping. My only issue is the starter gets heat soaked. I need to find a heat shield to install.

There wasnt anything special about the way the alt was mounted. Stock configuration worked perfect. The 6an line for my application is more than enough. You will need to figure out your goals and go with the correct size line for your car.

You do not "have" to have the NSS. You can bypass it and go straight to the starter. Which is prob what I will do.

Just read through your thread. Very nice job, it looks like you did everything right and it should be easy to work on. Any updates on the motor? Been to the track? Pics? Anything man... haha sick car.

I had mine wired up to the Lokar shifter I have. It came with a NSS installed on the shifter already. After 3 used the NSS somehow failed so I bypassed it. Just have to be careful not to start it in gear. Also I highly recommend against any Lokar shifters, total crap and for $250 I cant believe a simple piece like the NSS broke, pure **** all around!!!

No real updates, I need to rewire the started and fans as Im not happy with the way I did them. Ill get some new pics today and post them. Just clay bared, polished and waxed the car a few days ago. I havent taken the car to the track. I need better rear tires. Ill spin through 2nd a lot and it feels downright dangerous when the back end gets squirrely.

I had the wife record this on my phone yesterday. Not quite a WOT run because of traffic and that section of road has terrible traction. I have my cutouts open on this video also but have magnaflow mufflers that quiets the car down a lot when need be. Ill get a better video once I get a gopro, hopefully soon.

Well I rewired the starter and accessories this past weekend. I was having issues with that distribution block I had put in place. The starter was getting heat soaked and with the battery in the trunk the wire to the starter was long. I ran better wire to the starter and routed it to cut off around 6' of wire. I also wrapped the starter in heat shield. The car starts up right away everytime even after a 30 minute drive in 90 degree weather. I also ran the accessory wires directly to the battery and added in a 40 amp circuit breaker. Everything has worked fine and the engine bay is a little cleaner as well. Ill try and get some pics this weekend if it quits raining. Next I need to relocate a coil thats to close to the brake booster and rubbing the spark plug boot on it. I also need to swap in the ported TB Ive had sitting in the garage for the last year lol.

If this swap is still on the road I'd like to get some pictures of a few things on the swap if possible.

Can you show me how you did your PVC set up and how did those gauges work out for you? Would you choose something different if you could do it again?

If you check out the diagram I posted up its on there. I think it was a yellow wire off the plug that goes in the back of the stock fox cluster. But all the wiring is laid out for you in this thread somewhere, pretty simple.
