Does it matter where I put the oil pressure sending unit?
I am thinking about putting my oil pressure sending unit on the oil block-off plate located on the oil pan, above the oil filter. If I put the gauge sending unit there, would it give me a different reading than if I were to put it in the stock location behind the intake manifold?
The oil pressure sending unit I have to use is pretty bulky, and doesn't fit well behind the intake manifold. It interferes with my fuel lines and vacuum hose. I have an elongated 90* fitting on there, and it fits... barely, but I still don't like it there.

I am running the oil pressure gauge sender there also.. I don't think it will be much of a differents, maybe a few lbs.. I run the Chevelle idiot light sender off the top port.. so, I have a Idiot light and a pressure gauge.
You many not notice the pressure dropping, but once the light comes on, you will..
