350z LQ9 Swap
Ok guys here are the specs of a motor i came across. My goal is to Do a LS series swap in my 350z.
You can purchase the Motor mount Direct Drop in kit here
www.sikky.com
its been performed a few times on the 350z forum but not good enough write ups or knowledgeable people on these motors.
I have a little knowledge on Ls series but i want to ask you the experts on your opinion on a few things.
Motor Specs:
LQ9 Iron Block
Bored to 6.1L (370 cubic inch)
J.E. Forged Pistons Flat Top with 5 Valve Release
HellFire Piston Rings Gaped to 20 thousands
Clevitte H series Bearings
Eagle Forged H beam Rods Height 6.125
Ls1 Crank Balanced with rotating assembly
Ls3 head
I know that when you build a motor normally you build it specific to your Cam specs. I bought the motor as is and was told it was built to be all motor car that could handle 200 shot of nitrous.
My goals are to do all motor street build dont want a too aggressive cam.
for this motor set up what do you recommend?
Also if i was to boost what Cam?
and how much power should this setup hold if tuned properly?

I'm just a lurker here, but I thought I'd suggest it since you didn't get any response. This forum is usually build threads or questions about what mix of parts will get the job done.
