Hummer pan dipstick I have a hummer pan on my ls3 in a 71 chevelle. I was trying to bend the dipstick tube to fit and it got mangled. What im trying to find out is do they make a aftermarket dipstick that fits the hummer pan? Are all the ls motor pans dipsticks interchangeable? I see lokar makes one but it says for LS's Im not really concerened about the length i just want to know if the compression part with the orings will it fit into my hummer pan? Thanks!

Far as I know they're not interchangeable due to the differences in depth of the sumps. They're actually pretty cheap from the dealer. And ya, I *almost* had the same issue, only barely got it working for my set up before it was unusable.
