help on brake light switch! OK, I need to know what brake light switch to use on the 61' chevy wagon,(2004 6.0, with 4l60e) i've got it running and I need this hooked up. (switch closed when brake is pushed). On a budget, what cars have the correct switch?
That switch comes in all kinds of GMs, look for stuff with factory cruise control. 70's & 80's cars will give you very basic ones that work well. Very simple to identify, the style you want will have two sets of connectors, one normally open and one normally closed. Ten minutes at a junkyard with your multimeter and you should be able to come up with multiples of them.
