Default Which intake lq4 or LS1

I currently have a low mileage lq4 that is complete with full accessories. I am building a 52 Chevy truck rat rod cruiser with a T56. I am looking for a lot of low and mid range torque out of this set up. With that being said, should I keep the lq4 intake or change to the LS1 or equivalent? Most of the lq4 conversions I see have the LS1 or LS6 style intake.

Keep the truck intake, its made for lower end grunt. (as long it fits under the hood)

No worries about hood clearance. I could run a tunnel ran and still have room. The engine sits low in the 52. Check out my build pics.

If you're wanting the low rpm power, I say keep the truck intake.

Run the truck intake for now. Be on the lookout for the LS2 Trailblazer SS intake. I believe it's also used on the '07-up Silverado 1500 5.3L It's worth some HP but keeps the low-end.
Do some reading on the performancetrucks forum for more details.

truck is for torque

ls intake is for hp.

but the FAST is a good mix of both and available for nos setup....and strong enough for boost as well.
