A very impressive pass for the 60ft time and low boost! Can't wait to see what it does at full tilt

Went out tonight for 1/8 mile test and tune. Still leaving soft on the footbrake with no boost from the line went 6.42@120. Im not really up on the conversion stuff but from my research that is around a 10.08 1/4mile but the mph should be done in 8's?

I know they say to multiply your mph by 25% to achieve your 1/4 mile mph so it should of been 150s

60ft best was still a 1.9

This week Ill spend sometime and get the trans brake hooked up and 2 step and see if I cant launch the car this next weekend during some 1/4mile test and tune action.

I'll give you a little reference from my SBC nitrous days. My best 60' was 1.43 and my best 1/8 mile was 6.40 at 110mph. So yeah - that 120 mph is knocking on 5.9s with a stronger 60' time. I think you will be amazed when you launch it off the transbrake with about 5 psi boost. Nothing quite like getting shoved back in the seat with a hard launch.

Well last night I went ahead and wired up the trans brake and the 2 step, I set it to 3400 and this morning went out and switched it on and built 5lbs with ease on the wastegate spring with no c02. I released it and of course it blew the tires off but it was cool to see it work and I am looking forward to this sunday if weather holds to get it into the 9s.

Spent a couple bucks today and stepped it up to some afco double adjustable to get rid of my 3 ways out back. Gonna install them tomorrow, they are just so beautiful. Currently saving my pennies and nickles to do the same upfront. Changing to afco double adjustable bnc shocks and going back to a coil spring.

Went to National Trails today and only got two passes in, the first one somehow my throttle body boot popped off and it was over. The 2nd and last run I brought the 2 step in with the transbrake and left around 4-5lbs of boost. The car instantly blew the tires off and slid sideways for the first 100-120 ft then I peddled it to a 9.80@145. I am mounting these afcos this week and going to go back next week. No video becuase my damn sd card was full on the gopro

here is the slip

hope to get the car to 60ft around 1.2-1.3 and bring the boost in without slipping around to get an 8 sec pass before the year is out...

Any chance you feel like pulling that nice built motor out and seeing what a stock 5.3L/6.0 would put down?
Maybe take a stock '05 engine, put studs, gaskets, LS6 cam and valve springs in it?

I would love to see what the gain is (besides clear peace of mind) to heads and built bottom end.

Just a thought...

I dont know what it would live to or how much power it would make with stock rings. I think my heads and intake do wonders

it appears they no longer make your headers they are down and forward instead of up and forwards, did you order them custom ?
