Default lq4 question

It was pullrd from a 200? Silverado due to no oil pressure even checked with a mechanical guage.Oil pump replaced and still nothing (maybe 10psi I was told) But otherwise no knocks or strange sounds.

What could it be ?
Is it worth anything ?

The reason I'm asking is I can get it for almost nothing and if it's an easy fix I'll build it for my ride (pic below)

Here's a big cause of low oil pressure that I've seen:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...s-dropped.html

"check the connection from the pick up tube to the oil pump.. if the orings are pushed out or not sealing could be sucking air , may have to oblong the pick up tube mounting holes to get the tube to seat in the oil pump better ."

Funny thing Doug... I saw this post and was like " OMG MAYBE THERES A Mystery solution to fix that lq4 I have sitting around!" Oil pumps been replaced along with the oring which appeared to be seated correctly in every way/shape form. Always a possibility of the wrong ring or it not being installed correctly.

i bought a 100k+ lq4 recently and it did the same thing...not much oil preasure and when i reved it up the oil preasure would fall back before going foward...i put a ported pump on it and a new o-ring...the oil preasure went from 10 lbs idleing to 40+ pounds and around 80 at high rpm....the old o-ring fell into 2 pieces when it was removed though,i think that was my motors problem....

Those o-rings are almost a wear item, Ive seen some that are flat with squared edges. lol. Id say get it reguardless if its a couple bucks because the block alone is worth that.
