Default Choosing Right PCM, 411 or newer 1mb style?

I am swapping a 04 6.0 into a chevelle. I will be running a 4l80e and want to control this also. I am planning on repinning the harness to eleminate emissions.

As far as computers go, looking into using efi live and a custom os for 3 bar SD tune, I would like to run open and closed loop fueling with a wideband input to the ecm( can that be done). I would also need this to control the transmission.

I currently have the 12586242 ecm which is dbw and am converting over to dbc. Would the 411 work better for what i want to do or would the say 12586243 or 106 ecm work better( more features/e85 etc)? I am going to be buying a ecm anyway so I would like to look for the better choice.

My main ecm backgrounds with syty's 749 ecms and tunerpro RT with moates software.(widband open/closed loop fueling, RTT etc)

TIA

The 0411 is one of the last DBC PCMs, it wont let you down

I know the 411 is a good ecm, so its not worth anything to go with a newer 1mb DBC ecm to run SD 3 bar tune and 4l80e?

If you've already got one of those PCMs then run it. If not, go with a cheaper/more common 0411

If you have the newer style harness and are going DBC you can stick with the newer PCM but you have to get one with IAC drivers and have it flashed as a DBC van or 2004 GTO. Your current PCM is from a truck I believe and does not have IAC drivers. Check out this thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...-throttle.html

yep i got that i will need a ecm with a IAC driver. Ive ben through most all of the threads already on it.
I was planning on running a 12586243 due to it being 1mb ecm (supposedly faster/larger), but could not find any infomation about if i can run a custom OS for 3bar tune on it.

Most of the info about running efilive flash's and bins are for the older 512k ecm's like the 411. The 411 pinouts are close to the newer pinouts according to lt1swap.com's site.
I understand the newer ones can run flex fuel control with a added sensor which I like but havent seen if there is alot of support or troublehsooting with the newer bins.

I'll prob just give the newer one a try, and see how the flashing goes on it.
