temp switch

does anyone have a part number to a universal temp switch I can use to turn electric fans on. I am looking for one that grounds at a certain temp. I have tried the universal adjustable thermostats but after a few months they would go out and overheat my motor plus at $60 not something I want to change very often.

just have the computer turn on the fans for you. Get it programmed into it and hook up the single wire on the connector and you're done.

I understand about the computer but I also was looking for a switch for my truck so I didnt have to get it tuned plus I could use it on the non lsx applications

I don't have a part number but I used to use Volvo 240/740 fan switches.

They're ~$25 new, but a dime a dozen in the junk yards. the older ones have spade connectors. Not sure the exact temp' it grounds at, but I never had an issue w/ them.
