Yep once springtime rolls around Ill schedule a date with the dyno. This winter itll be getting a fuelpump upgrade with hotwire kit to make sure Im getting the fuel it needs so the dyno tune will be good and not just overcompensating like the injectors might be right now. Winter will also bring dmh cutouts, and mount the batt under the bed while the beds off for the fuel pump upgrade and Ill paint the frame and whatnot, Also Ill put the nitrous back on and get a nice driveshaft from Pst or maybe Dennys. A/c will probably be put on hold now since I wasnt planning on a new driveshaft.

Very nice! Is there a book with all the tricks? Does this swap work on a Blazer/Jimmy?

Progress is a beautiful thing. Those factory fuel pump hanger/bucket/sender/thingamagiggers sure are ugly SOBs. Nothing to add other than get that thing running and on the dyno please.

Tirsmokin,
I STILL don't understand why you yanked out a perfectly good running 4.3L V6 for a fricken junky LS engine.

I was strapped for cash and knew how valuable those 4.3s were so I yanked it out to sell it and threw in whatever cheap boat anchor I could find.

No pics today but I siphoned out all the gas out of the tank so I could get to the little sediment on the bottom of the tank. Siphoning sucks! Ill start notching for the battery box tomorrow and cut up the factory bucket once the gas fumes clear out of the garage. Atleast I filled up the Maximas tank without having to go to the gas station and have another couple gal left in a gas can. Also ordered a flex line for in the bucket so I wont have to worry about rubber lines bursting in the tank.

Cut up the bucket to allow gas to flow around the pump to cool it.

I had to heat the flex tube slightly to get it softer to fit over the nipple on the top module since it was huge compared to the tube. Even then I couldnt get it on all the way. Its over 3/4 on and with the clamp I can budge it. Hope it holds!
