I would try out the turbo II rear ends. They are strong for the money and should hold up to a good bit of abuse. I know the 2nd gen turbo II rear end was a little bit stronger then the 3rd gen rear that can support over 400 to the wheels on street cars. A lot has to do with what the car is going to be used for. A street car with mild bolt ons and street tires is going to put a lot less strees on the rear end than a big cam, big converter, nitrous, drag car on slicks.

If its going to be a street car and weekend racer i think the turbo II rear our of the FC would hold up just fine. If your going more to the track side of things then might want to think about a Ford 8.8.

Just my 2 cents.

Im doing the same build only im going 5.3. Just got my tax return so im in the market for a t56. Also Using Pez mounts. Id say im 45% there. Just about to get dirty with it. I picked upa T2 rear end but it cost me close to 400 bucks and i had to go pick it up but for what im doing it should work just fine. Norotors will be your best friend

Great forum over there with a bunch of cool guys. I think the Turbo II rears are 4.10s if i am not mistaken as well. there may also be a 3.73 option but i am not sure.
