engine angle and engine supports longevity
How does the engine angle affect the longevity of the engine supports?
If I tilt the engine at 5-6 degrees, will it damage the supports in the long run?
I need that angle for clearance purposes.
I know I also have to match that angle on the differential. I don't think tilting the diff 5-6 degrees will cause any problems.
The engine is at 5-6 degrees but the drive shaft itself is at about 3. The relative angle between transmission and drive shaft is 2-3 degrees which is fine. I only have to rotate the axle with adjustable upper control arms so it will have the same angle as the transmission.
