i am going to be purchasing a 5.3 or a 6.0 motor to put in my 67 cutlass. my question is has anyone used a 5.3 or 6.0 out of a car instead of a truck. will they fit the same. any advice will be appreciated

 

5.3s out of cars are all FWD, so idk if that would work.

However, all other 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, 6.2, etc will bolt right up, as long as you follow one of the many threads in this section, regardless of whether it came out of a camaro/gto/corvette or colorado/silverado/ssr

 

from what I've read the bellhousing pattern is different on the front wheel drive engines.
