Haven't had much luck searching for comparisons on these
Looking for rad for chevelle. Either a universal griffin with tranditional SBC outlets single pass($180), vs a dual pass unit with same side inlet/outlets($300ish).
also would a 2.25 thick be better vs the 3 inch due to the FMIC restricting some flow to the rad?
Besides hose outlets, is there any benefit to running a dual pass? Better cooling? Would I need any more water pump flow to make sure the fluid passes through both cores at the same amount of speed?
I will have a 3.5 inch thick intercooler in front of this rad also. Fan will probably be a two speed taurus fan also.
thanks

What are you running in the way of a motor?
LS motors seem pretty easy to cool. Unless you are running something radical (turbos) you shouldn't need anything special in the way of cooling system.
There are a lot of opinion on single vs. dual pass radiators. Some are much more informed than others.
Most guys just use some form of a stocker radiator. The new aluminum radiators shed heat much better than the old brass ones did. As long as you have adequate air flow you shouldn't need anything more than that.

Im running a cammed lq4 with a gt4276 turbo and a 3.5 inch thick FMIC in front of the radiator. Just deciding if the extra $100 or so is worth it for a dual pass to keep outlets on same side, i can fit both styles either way.
I used an Allstar performance dual pass
It cools my car without any issues
