Doug's VS Hooker A-body headers Does anyone have a set of the Hooker 2289 A-body LS1 sawp headers on hand ? Perhaps they could get a measurement or two ?
I have a set of the Doug's 3338 swap headers and have noticed some striking similarities in the looks of them.......

Doug's vs Hookers While I can not confirm the headers for your Chevelle, I have a 1964 Chevelle and tried both the Hookers and the Doug's. Neither of them fit my Chevelle at all. I ended up with the Edelbrock's instead and the fit was great. Here is a link to my build article. Hoep this helps.
