'02 5.3L LM7 without VATS?

'02 5.3L LM7 without VATS? I recently picked up an LM7 from an '02 Silverado and just noticed that the pinouts for this motor do not seem to show any fuel enable circuit. Specifically, C2 pin 30 is listed as "not used". No sign of circuit 229 anywhere. So....did GM build some '02 trucks without VATS??? And in case it gets asked--haven't had a chance to set the motor up for a test start just yet, so I can't say whether or not it behaves like it has VATS.

Trucks do vats over the serial data line.
Camaros and Firebirds are the only ones that do a hardwired vats signal.

Ahhh...thanks, very devious those engineers. So on the trucks, VATS processing is controlled entirely within the PCM, not sourced externally via the BCM like the F-body stuff.....interesting.
Can anyone tell me if HPTuners has the functionality to set up the F-body circuit (C2 30 enable/ C2 9 relay activate) on the truck PCM? I realize that this is probably not a common request from users...just contemplating keeping VATS on this 5.3 and running a removable module like I do on my F-body motors.
