I have a line on a batwing oil pan for my 6.0L conversion on my 89 Vette. Just wondering if anyone that's done this swap before can tell me if the batwing pan will work for me, or if I should go with the F-body pan instead for any reason?

I can swap the seller straight up for my truck pan, so this is a good deal for me if it will work for my swap. Thanks for any input!

I can attest to the fact that the Batwing pan fits fine in a 2nd Gen F-body. How close does a C4 compare? Dunno, but from the pic below (found by google searching "C4 Oil Pan" and clicking "images"), it looks doable:
