It was a nice car. A bit over $20K. It's the reason I'm building a 73 Z28 with a L92/TKO600 combo.

I drove that car for five summers and never a problem. See Chevy High Preformance for the magazine article.

I see you like the color orange. LOL. What headers did you use on the 79 Camaro? Have you started a build thread for the '73 yet?

The 79 was Viper red which looked a little orange in the bright sun light.
The 73 is the stock orange. Very fine metal flake in it. It's a PPG base coat clear coat. Since it's an original Z28 it made sense to bring it back to it's original color. It was a drag car for many years. Original motor long gone. Decent shape but beat up due to many differnt shifters and rear wheel wells opened up for taller slicks.
I do like red. Some of my other cars.

I haven't started a build thread yet. Fairly basic build. Stock sub frame. Speed tech a-arms. C5 brakes all around. 10 bolt with a tru trac. 3:73 gears. I haven't decided on wheels yet. Stock dash with Autometer gauges. The L92will be drive by wire. Spear tech harness. TKO from Keisler.

The 79 had Edelbrock shorty 2002 headers. They fit well. 2.5" exhaust all the way back.

Here is a pic of my really red 66 Mustang. Made the cover of Car Craft.

snagged a harness from techrod off that auction site..had to battle someone at the last minute for it.. anyone here? Got it for less than retail of course so we're full speed ahead on the build now.. wont be magazine material with the lil ole 4.8..LOL but it will be a nice functioning car.. hopefully

So from what I've read the vette acces are the best to use? No fabricating involved with them?
I'm going to do the used pacesetter's trick to keep cost down as well...
So far I'm into it $1350 for the harness engine and trans.. need to figure out your motor mount you did .. I saw the explanation.. but the BHP kit has my eyey for the ease of it... but your way is like $100 total?

Yes they had the Mustang as a feature in the back.

On my 79 Camaro I used the fbody accessories and it worked well.
