Ive seen on the mustang forums that on these 1st gens the geometries are actually good (as far as handling goes) and the consensus was that good coilovers/ a good matched set of shocks/springs would match a mustangII setup, but the big plus is that there are no shock towers, so..

Definitely in for info on the IRS setup... i had contemplated it but ive already got a full disc conversion for whatever hubs are on the car (might transfer but idk). Its one of those 'would if i could' things..

There's all u need to know about the irs.....that is by far the main thing I want in mine! Yeah I'm sure between all of our builds we will all be able to help eachother out a lot! I love how small these cars are also and I hope it does handle great with irs and front coilovers and all

You won't be disappointed! They are great for tech questions and had no problem with me putting a Chevy motor in my Mav.

Ight if u download the catalog its pretty much a lot better with info.....I think my buddy is going to definetly sale me his 04 irs so this thing art to handle amazing. I'm going to run the power steering rack tho not a manual. I think that front end is going to make the swap so simple

For the power rack you'll prolly want the 2 GPM flow reducer (screws into the bottom of the pump), it makes the steering a lot less twitchy. I tried it without, just on jack stands while bleeding the system (twisting the steering wheel left and right) the damned front wheels started jacking off. Had to shut the car off to make it quit. With the load of the car on the tires, it may have been OK...

I never asked, I used Transdapt 4501 motor stands with very minor trimming. IIRC, my rails are 26" apart (inside).
