1976 Vega Wagon

Love the build...love the way you took the time to adapt the frame to the body. I'm doing the same build but a Monza. I saw someone use a front subframe from an 80's Camaro way back but the front tire stuck way out. Keep up the great build, be waiting for more update and pics.

3" and 2.5" aluminum intercooler tubing.
I also made an elbow to fit the carb type intake and truck throttle body. I do not have a tig it is all done with a spool gun so be easy on me.
And I also bought a 72 parts car and have started changing the front end over to it. What do you think?

Changing the nose over set me back a little bit. I had to stand the radiator up and back just a little to get it to tuck up in the lower valance. That put the fans into the water pump. I moved the engine back 3" and bought an ls3 water pump to give me the extra room I needed.
New motor mounts are made. I have the radiator and intercooler mounted. Moved the turbos so they don't hit the tires at full lock. Built the exhaust, mounted the wastegates and dumps. I also have the charge pipes built. I am redoing the fire wall now so the engine isn't touching and I can bolt the trans back up.
When that is done I will pull the engine and put it together and ready to run. Then I can start wireing everything up. Hopefully it runs by spring. Here are some pics hope you all like them.
Here are a few with the front sheet metal off. I thought it looked kinda neat.

Great build I like the Blazer frame and the way you set the wheel openings back without stretching the actual car back. Unforunately the only Vega's I see are cobbled together this one looks great
