I'm working on that in mine right now. Pain in the ***. Doing a 5.3, 98 dash, and 03 cluster in my 89. The dash wiring is the bitch part.

Never thought if putting in the newer style cluster... Doesn't sound like a bad idea... As long as you post of the wiring diagram when you are done

The cluster shouldnt be too bad. Most of the wiring for it comes from the PCM.

im bumping this up from waaay back...Im guessing this conversion kit never made it to production? Im still wanting to put an ls engine in that old 94 burb. Im not around here much, so Im sure someone has a kit that is semi complete that can be purchased? May be better off on the truck forum?

Unfortunately, our project truck has taken a back burner currently because of production obligations. It is still on the radar but timeline is up in the air. We have had a lot of customers purchase our standard harnesses for these trucks and have provided schematics, etc. for wiring your stock gages in these applications.
