Well its been a while but im climbing out of the poor house and i finally spent some money on the car and made some progress. I ended up sending my turbo out and had a new turbine wheel installed and its a good thing because elidgily the bearings were bad haha. So needless to say the turbo is practically brand new. Also finally broke the bank and bought my tubing. I just in the past three nights have got the headers almost done just have to finish welding them. I had to order the flanges/clamp for my tial exhaust housing and believe me they are proud of those at $170 for 2 flanges and 2 v-band clamps So im hoping to have the merge pipe and dp done by next weekend.

Got some more work done, finished the merge pipe and now the turbo is sitting in the engine bay by it self and not hanging from the hood with band ties haha.

Yea i sold the blower to my friend last year shortly after the ls1 blew up. As far as hydrolic set up its already been done from when i had the car on the road the first time. I ended up using a turbo coupe (t-bird)clutch master cylinder, firewall boot, and clutch pedal assembly its all bolt in. You just have to drill the outlet of the clutch master cylinder to accept the line from from the camaro. If you go through all the threads ive posted i think theres a thread i did on it and i put a couple pics up on how i did it. It works pretty good, but my buddy also has a ls1 6 spd in a mustang and we used the camaro setup and just welded a mount on the fire wall it worked really well also.

Well ive made so more progress on the build. I did have to pull the motor out after talking to steve (frost) he mentioned re gaping the rings but like an idiot i didnt do that so i had to tear the motor out and back apart. So after pulling the motor apart i decided also to put some 706 heads on it to so i did away with the 317(for sale btw $150), but its all back together now and in the car. I also fabed up the dp and half the ex. with a 4" cutout which means all the hot side is done now. Then yesterday i fabed the upper rad hose due to tight clearnace from the turbo, and got the 2 step moutned and the ds cold side piping done. Plus i just odered all my fuel fittings to finish the fuel system really hopin the 340 areo will due the job for now because im broke lol. also sent my ecm off to frost so might have this thing running in the next couple weeks i hope.

Been awhile since ive had a chance to update due to the mad rush to finish the car for mustang week at mrtyle beach. Since the last post Ive got the car on the road with a mail order tune drove it for about 200 miles and took the car to frost in richmond. The little 5.3 put down 615hp 554tq before braking the tail shaft housing and from the dyno graph you can see the tune is no where near done.
