lol very true, matt had a stock one in his garage i put in it for the time being so atlaest i can drive it. As far as the other trans goes i pulled the ts housing and the only issue i could see was the ts housing bushing started to walk out the back of the trans and of course the fact it was split in two. I have another housing im gonna throw on it though. So ill let you know what im gonna do with soon.

whatsa347-Yea before i had bought a vortech g-trim head unit and just built the brackets to mount it to the motor and did a fmic. There is alot more room with the blower vs the turbo because of all the added pipe.

Would you say the vortech was easier to piece even with the FMIC? Always liked superchargers and I know my sn95 engine bay is bigger than yours and it seemed like you had plenty of room. It's a badass setup, I just don't want to take the typical nitrous route is all. Props for a car that moves out!

Yea i would say copmared to the turbo the sc was an easier build, but the results are far different the car only went 10.97@127 on a ls1 with the vortech. And with the turbo on a 5.3 it went 10.63@137. With that being said it was only a g-trim so results would be different with a bigger blower, both are fun builds.... And thanks i appreciate it!

Well thanks to 3rdgenvert who sold me pretty much my whole th400 swap (great seller btw) i finally decided to swap out the 6 spd. I got the th400 installed and drove it around the other day for the first time. Now this whole mvb auto with a big stall is new to me so just wanted to hear your thoughts. Im running 3.55 gears which i pretty much determined are way to low and plan to goto a 3.08 with 28'' tire, But as of right now wot is out of the question in any gear converter flashes then turbo spools and next thing you know your on the limiter and spining. I know the roads are cold but will the gear swap help with this? my converter is a fti that i got from 3rdgen which we new would be loose because it flashed round 3800 in his covertable 3rd gen f-body with 500hp my car is lighter an has more power but could that be some of my problem to?

tci outlaw shifter where the factory 5spd shifter went, and a custom length drive shaft, i think center to center of u joints is 47 1/2" i will double check though. My buddy and i are also doing a 6.0 th400 swap in a 90gt for a friend and we out a b&m pro stick in the car mounted in the ash try.
