This is an awesome swap. I've always liked the X-Runner, and previous gen S-Runner. Hell I own a little beat to **** 93 reg cab 2wd, and even its kind of fun to ring the **** out of since it its so light and a 5 speed. I'd have put in a manual t-56 tranny if it were me, but that's just personal preference. I just love banging gears.

Just curious, what does this thing weigh with the V6, and then with the LS1 in it??? My 93 weighs about 2500lbs unloaded.

Yea it would've been nice to have a t56. But I got eng and trans w 27k on it for a great deal. I am on a budget right now so I used the a4 plus it would have newness harder to get the shifter to line up. Plus traffic here sux. So I just want to cruise and relax ya know. I want to get a t/a or vette and it will be a 6spd for sure.

Nice build. Kinda getting the gears turning. My brother has an 07' 2wd Tacoma. He wrecked it and we are rebuilding it now. Makes me wish it needed a motor too. Looking foward to the finished product.

yea im running the plastic line. it will be in convelated tubing and there is a rubber grommet in the firewall. its not on anything to get chaffed. i have done s10 v8 swaps and never had one blow out. one time one did touch the header and melted but that was my fault

Default 07 toyota x runner ls1 swap

My friend of UK is putting a ls1 from a 2000 z28 in my 07 x runner. Which is pretty quick for a v6 and a truck.Member for transthere is 2 supports that bolt from frame to x member, it kinda acts like sub frame connectors.

Where did you get that oil filter adapter from? How about the mount for the remote filter? I wanted to do this to my car, I was actually thinking of running two filters in series to increase the capacity of my oiling system. Thanks!

Mounts I got from eBay. And yes I got a universal radiator from summit racing.

Eng harness is in the mail. Should be here in the mid of next week. So i will be able to put her all back together.

Does anyone know how much hp i can squeeze out of a stock ls1 with headers, true duals with x pipe, and cai?

the oil filter bypass part number is trd-1020 from summit racing.
