got it from o'reileys...i work at a shop and my local guys couldnt get it but o'reileys had it in stock for the same price it would have cost me local. looks decent to me (and its a flywheel gray...you dont have to look at it for quite some time once its installed lol)

still need to find out what headers will work with my z bar and decide on what pan i am going to use...i want atleast 6 quarts and it to be a cast pan.

I found this thread accidently.....but this is like the best news I've heard in awhile. Visions of a L92 headed, victor jr., large hyd roller, 750 Double pumped, LS2 shortblock backed by a M20 are not going to leave my mind until they come true!!

Could I use the Sachs flywheel and LS7 pilot bearing to mate a LSx to a LT1 t56 using the stock LT1 Bellhousing, clutch, and hydraulics??? I know it would be easier to just run a LS1 t56 if starting from scratch, but I have 3 LT1 t56 setups already.

Not sure if the housing will clear the clutch or starter, but if you try it, let us know.

so what i gather is with a sachs 1050 flywheel (4.8l truck flywheel), ls7 pilot, and whatever 11inch clutch kit i want for my 79 k10 4x4 4 speed truck is all i need to drop in my 03 lq4 correct? i know this post is old as hell but one person said one parts list and another said different and then ive heard bbc in there..... i just need to know for sure that all i need is those 3 things.... idk about this 621 bellhousing... is that the bell on my muncie 4 speed or do i need to get one? also will that flywheel work with my current starter? all help greatly appreciated. like i said, its confusing with the multiple parts lists and such going on in this post
