Corvette pump, fox body gt rack HELP So after putting roughly 500 miles on my car since the build, my power steering rack is shot, leaking out of both boots. The pump always made noise, and steering wasn't as fluid as it should be. I've installed a reducer to lower the flow... Any one who is running a vette pump and a mustang power steering rack please chime in and tell me what your set up is like. Mines f'd right now and I need to get it back on the road.
corvette PS pump and FOX rack I'm running a 2007 Corvette pump with my 87 FOX rack, but I did put the pressure reducer spring from Borgeson in the pump, its not the flow its the pressure that blows out the rack seals, it also makes the steering very "twitchy".
