Hi everyone!
I am new posting in this forum, but have been studying it for some time and is very impressed with all the knowledge. My plans are to install a LS1 or LQ4 with a T-56 in my '71 Chevelle and have some questions I'm sure someone here can give excellent answers to. I haven't found an engine yet, so I need some info to know what to look for.
-Realizing that LS1Edit may be necessary, can I use the PCM from an automatic trans vehicle when using a manual transmission?
-Can the manual trans flywheel on a truck engine be used together with a T-56?
-Seems like there are some natural gas LQ4's out there, how big an effort does it take to convert to gasoline?
Thanks,

You're best bet to save on potential problems would be to just get a T56 set-up from an LS1 with the flywheel. You can use an auto PCM with a T56, however, you will have to re-flash the PCM with a manual program.
Haven't seen any natural gas set-ups, sorry. ight have to go and find a conversion site somewhere.
