ls6 performance gains
ls6 performance gains I am slowly piecing together swap parts to install a tb ss ls2 into my 72 chevelle. I do not want to run the tb ss intake simply because it looks like dogshit!!!! I purchased a ls6 intake because i read they flow the best for a car intake. I believe the tb ss intake is attached to a 90 mm throttle body correct? Will i be losing power going to a intake designed to work with a 78 mm throttle body????? What injectors do i need to use with the ls6 intake? Also i would like to use a cable throttle body primarily on ease of install. What throttle body should i be looking for? Sorry for all the noob questions but this is my first ls engine and i just want to do it right the first time. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kevin btw the ls2 is going to be left stock for probably quite some time with just headers and a home depot air intake probably. Maybe cam it down the road?
