1970 GTO project ideas
As a wise man once said, "Anyone can restore one, it takes a real man to cut one up."
I now am in the process of installing:
1) Ridetech Full Single Adjustable Coilover Kit Front and Rear with all new control arms, bushings, spindles, sway bars etc.
2) Coys C-57 chrome. 18x8 with 4.5BS and 20x10 with 5.5BS
3) Tires 245/45/18 and 295/35/20
I'm a bit worried about the wheels and tires fitting but was assured by Coys Wheels that they would work. I think I'm going to have little to no clearance on the outter fender in the rear and will be required to get out the cut-off wheel.
Everything is going very slowly as most companies don't carry this stuff in stock but is made to order. Next steps will be CPP big brakes and trying to locate a good T56 for the drivetrain swap.
