When i looked at them a while back the easiest way to go would be to order it for the 4.6l configuration and then just use the sn95 mustang adapter plates to mount the engine.

She was all about the build thread. We are going to sit down in the next few days and look over what comes in the standard/complete kits and go from there. She asked to start getting parts for it already.

Unreal, does your friend have a build thread or anymore pics of the build? I'm wondering if he had any fitment issues with the 4L60E.

Thanks!

My buddy's father just picked up an aluminum body one, not sure if its original original or if its a Shelby remake. But it does have a Shelby serial tag on the dash.

He paid about what a full kit + Engine/tranny + interior/Paint would cost. Right place right time kind of deal. The guy had over 100k in receipts to have it restored, and he paid 30K for it.

He isn't on this forum. Once it gets out of the interior shop I have to go tune it. I can take a ton of pictures then. As far as I know, no issues with fitting anything. Tons of room.

Awesome. I wish he was closer. I'd love to see it in person.

Pretty sure that's a Superformance kit, since it says "Superformance" on the windshield.

That guy was just trying to crash it, wowza.

LOL that crash vid has been around for a looonnnggg time. It's a running joke over the FFR forums..

Anyhow yep mine has been on the road for about 7 months now. There's still other items on the todo list however it's tagged and legal now. You've got the build thread here along with the links in my sig to the blog and picture gallery. If you have any questions just PM me. I'd be glad to help out where I can..

As far as the car driving it has been a blast so far. Loving every minute of it.

Thanks for replying Tails! Do you think there's enough usable room in the front to do a turbo?

On the FFR kit yep there's plenty of room depending on where you put the motor. I moved mine back as far towards the firewall as I could with the motor mounts. Here's an older pic that gives you an idea of the room between the front of the motor and the chassis x-member...
