Found these and they would work well for venting steam into the uper radiator hose.

that is a good price, i ordered something similar from jags that run...but it was kinda pricey.

If you are going to use that for an actual sensor, make sure its got a screw to mount a ground for it. Here's what I came up with to handle both:

Since the metal adapter isn't connected to the car and insulated by contact with the radiator hoses, it won't be grounded. (unless you have a wire pulled to a known ground.)

Unless I'm missing something.

I have seen the cooling system used as a ground... Measure the resistance of your antifreeze you might be surprised what you find--unless you have a really good engine ground setup

any-b know the inside size of the radiator hose, to order the correct size..
is it 38MM or 40MM?

I used a 34mm one in my upper hose. My waterpump outlet was 1 5/16" which is 34mm...
