Default Some updates

Been enjoying the car this summer.

Dyno'd at 515/517 rwhp / tq at 10psi. Looking to redyno at 15psi at some point need to get wastegate springs or a boost controller.

Still running a stock 4L80e / and stock converter , but so far the tranny feels good, I could definitely use a converter , but still working out the bugs and driving.

Added a set of 18" ccw wheels with nitto dr's and converted to 4 wheel Baer Disc set up. Stops great now over a stock buick setup.

Custom lsX emblems made in same style as gnX emblem.

Installed a dual 3" stainless exhaust with QTP cut outs. the open downpipes were getting annoying. Best of both worlds now.

Serpentine belt starts to slip off some times, went back to a stock f body power steering pulley but still didn't fully solve the problem, other then that it runs and drives great.

Need to move intercooler up 6 to 8" probably wait till over the winter to do that.

Looking forward to more boost!

The rears are 18x10" ccw, I could of went .5 inch bigger. I also have rolled lips tires fit no problem. Fronts are 18x9's i could go larger since I'm not running any inner fenders.

My engine is set back to the firewall within 1/4 inch of passenger side head.

Also get the summit 4L80e crossmember , I ended up modifying stocker , then with dual 3" exhaust had to modify it again. Then I found out that summit had an aftermarket crossmember. oh well.

What size rubber?
Got any pics of the oil pan to frame wondering if i can fit a Fbody type aftermarket pan in now that i know your engine is pushed all the way back you will have the max spacing from your pan sump to frame.

Please share where you goth the GNX inspired LSX Emblem. I need one for my 6.0 Regal. It will be the only emblem on the car.

If you don't want to say in the open forum a PM would be appreciated.

Thanks, Ken

Ken I'll send you a PM. Not sure if they are a sponsor here or not.

They came out great , better then expected. I had an original gnX emblem that I measured and took pictures so it is very close to the original.

The only thing Im worried about taking off the fender emblems is that there might still be an outline / fade from being on so long.

6togo,

pics of the oil pan drains for you. also a pic of how close I am to the firewall.

Rubber out back is a nitto 555r Dr's 295's 18's on front is 255 on 18's.

I think I could squeeze a 305 out back with no problem with the rolled lips.

Wow! I could not get that intake to clear my stock hood at all... We ended up waterjetting it and fabbing a larger GN style bump (still needs body work on the bump and paint)...
