...UPdate!... Been driving the WHEELS off! She runs awesome with the Morris "tune" (Thanks Mike!). I am very pleased with the responsiveness and the power! I am a little dismayed with the 4L70E and feel this is the weak point of the drivetrain... I will either go with a T-56 (my first choice!) or a 6L80E.... Question: will the tranny tunnel need cutting for the 6L80E?? Anyone know??

TC I've got the same swap setup as you do (TBSS/4L70) What is it that you do not like about the 4L70 aside from its "weak" reputation.

it seems there is some "slippage" during certain conditions... I think I might need a rebuild...if so, then I heard due to it's reputation it would be money better spent by upgrading to a different tranny... unless you know of someone or something to work a 4L70??

Steve,

Brian would FREAKOUT if we had to cut into his perfect floor work! I guess 6-speed auto will be out-of-the-question if that's the case!
