LSx engine swap guides

I use alldata for all of my wiring harness pin outs and schematics. I know if you go to alldatadiy.com you can get all the information you could ever desire for that 2000 Silverado for $17.
Dave,
All you really need is a Ligenfelter conversion box that allows you to run a Gen IV motor in a Gen III car.
You will need to run the LS1 oil pan.
Aside from that you will need to extend the wires to your MAP sensor and bolt your Gen III knock sensors onto each side of the block.
Wolf,
I strongly recommend the Holley/Hooker G-body motor mounts, I have used them on countless G-bodies (and coincidentally 73-87 2wd trucks) running every LS style transmission with no issues. You can get them on Summit for around $80.

Which model are you looking at swapping?
I've done an Eldo swap where we modified a set of 55 chevy Gen II small block adapter brackets. If you are interested, I may still have the pics on an old laptop.
Already have everything.

Looking for info on how well the 6l90 fits
if the tiptronic will work and if the stock tach will work.
Used Lingenfelter 24x to 58x coversion box, injector pigtail conversion and knock sensor conversion. Stock 5.3L ECM and programming. Still has VVT Actuator but obviously doesn't work with LM7 programming and wiring. Any ideas?
