Cool,

All gen III and IV style heads will bolt onto and LSX block. The extra two bolt holes for each cylinder on the LSX block are not used unless you are running LSX heads.

I have 2000 Silverado wire harness with the red and blue computer drive by cable also. somebody have schematics for this application any help be appreciated thank you.

I use alldata for all of my wiring harness pin outs and schematics. I know if you go to alldatadiy.com you can get all the information you could ever desire for that 2000 Silverado for $17.

Dave,

All you really need is a Ligenfelter conversion box that allows you to run a Gen IV motor in a Gen III car.

You will need to run the LS1 oil pan.

Aside from that you will need to extend the wires to your MAP sensor and bolt your Gen III knock sensors onto each side of the block.

Wolf,

I strongly recommend the Holley/Hooker G-body motor mounts, I have used them on countless G-bodies (and coincidentally 73-87 2wd trucks) running every LS style transmission with no issues. You can get them on Summit for around $80.

Default 06+ saab 9-5 swap

Hey guys, this is my first post here. The LS is swapped into almost anything. Is there a reason it hasn't been done to the saabs? Is note possible? Is it because it's front wheel drive?

There is the 330hp 5.3L LS4 front wheel drive option. If you don't mind ridiculous torque steer, it would be your only LS option without major chassis mods.

Which model are you looking at swapping?

I've done an Eldo swap where we modified a set of 55 chevy Gen II small block adapter brackets. If you are interested, I may still have the pics on an old laptop.

Default Is there a guide to get vss output from a e38

I need to know if there's a way to get vss output from a e38 because eventually I'm gonna go with Dakota digital gauges and will have to know how fast and how slow I'm going.

2005 K1500 prerunner with gen 3 5.3L (LM7) converted to rebuilt stock gen 4 6.0L (LY6). Runs great at anything less than WOT. At WOT lays over and will not pull. Pops and runs like its a timing issue. Ease up on the throttle a tick and it runs perfect.

Used Lingenfelter 24x to 58x coversion box, injector pigtail conversion and knock sensor conversion. Stock 5.3L ECM and programming. Still has VVT Actuator but obviously doesn't work with LM7 programming and wiring. Any ideas?

. The El Camino I did got a L94 (2013 6.2 Vortec V6200) with factory exhaust manifolds and oil pan. This motor had oil pan sump in the rear (truck). The factory exhaust manifolds are huge and they are working with aftermarket cam and performance chip and tune. Close to 475 H P. I found the standalone harness to be handy. I used the Vortec truck pedal. It has a 400 turbo .Motor mount work and cross-member fabrication was required.
