Try anything from Nikka Japan. The Taketsuru and Yamazaki are two of my favorites in the decent price range.

 

Nice, I will have to try that stuff.. I have tried the Hibiki stuff and loved it..



Here is a little pic on how it sits right now.. Waiting on my spacers to get here and then I can get a alignment.

Also I had to replace my head gaskets,, I will touch on that later...

 

Any update on the build? I'm about to start my Fairlady Z (z32) build, so I'm following close to this build. Nice work!

 

Nothing crazy to update really.. well kind off...

I had to replace the head gaskets due to me running a MLS gasket with the 806 heads.. Which really need the graphite head gaskets due to the notch in the heads.. So when I filled with coolant I was getting a small coolant leak at the rear of the heads..









It sucks cause it is a lot of work just to change out a $50 part.. Oh well nothing but to do it..



Car is back together now and awaiting my new Wilwood Clutch Master Cylinder. Once that goes in I can finalize some things and head to get tune.


Oh also finally picked a wrap color




Going with the color on the right, which is a gloss white with flake.. Should look nice..


Other then that just waiting on a few things..

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been way to long without a update.... Life got the best of me and the project sat for a while.. Had some more issues with PCM tune and wiring issues.. But now that is all fixed and we can start moving forward with wrapping things up..






This is how the car looks as of right now.. Car is wrapped in this picture.

Decided to go with a Hexis Wrap, color is a Gloss Saturn White Glitter Vinyl Wrap.. Looks killer in the sun.

As you can tell from the pic, I finished up my side splitters and also my wing endplates.


With all that being said, tried to go get a alignment the other day, but did not work out good, due to my car being so low and need a in-ground unit to get it done..


But once that is complete I should be ready to start doing some mad skids...


So stay posted.. I also have a vid of me driving out of the garage. I will have to put it up on here as well..


But get ready for some updates..

 

Been following this thread for a while. Going to be doing a 5.3l lm7 turbo swap pretty soon. Gotta flip the evo8 first. Does your z33 run yet? Looking forward to more detailed build updates
