Need advise on which LS set up to use on 67 C10
Hello all and thanks for giving me the opportunity to take part. I need help/guidance on converting my 1967 C10 truck with a late model drive train. When I say drive train I'm speaking of engine & trans combo specifically. First
and foremost, by budget will be low. I was laid off well over a year ago and had with new employment. As for what I want, it's pretty simple, a late model V8 with 425HP and up. Thanks

LQ9 6.0 from an Escalade or
LQ4 6.0 From Truck or Van
4l80E trans.
Add
Mild Cam
Headers
CAI.
Keep all factory accy
Keep oil pan.
Cheap, and easy to get.
Plenty of HP and TQ
Bolt in and hang on.
If it was a light car i would say 5.3 and 4L60E with a large cam, will give you good numbers too, but the 6.0 combo will give you gobs of TQ.
