Trust me on this one you are going to cut up a bracket and end up with scrap and still buy a new bracket. I am a structural engineer and have access to a cnc mill, water jet, all kinds of stuff. The beauty of the prochager bracket is the multiple mounting positions. I actually had a bracket drawn up and was getting ready to machine all the parts when I got this set up. Lets put it this way, my kit was so new it still had some blue tooling die on a couple of the parts. I am all for engineering and designing new stuff, I love that part of these builds. But if you a want bracket with some "flexibily in mounting positions" then by the procharger bracket. You will be happy you did.

Yeah i thought the same thing. So while the big block was in it... i used it a reference... it had performer rpm air gap and the 14" air cleaner just barely sat inside the cowl section... Then i measure the distance and new i had close to that distance... should fit... the elbow should just rise up a little inside the cowl... And thanks for the comment on the subframe... it was a ton of work....

Very nice build, subscribed. Can you pm me on what to look for on those "ebay" arms? Are there any down sides to using them that you have heard of? I am also doing the LS1 brake swap on my 67, great work on your subframe, looks VERY nice. Also, are you planning on using Carshop 1" setback plates for that motor? They seem to work well with those headers...
