Ken, I have had similar results with CPP. I understand when a company puts out a top notch product and questions if it was installed right but we all know the CPP stuff can go either way. I literally had to beg them to inspect some parts that I shipped back on my dime. Of course they had an issue and replaced them but I have documentation stating that it's OK to have considerable play between the inner bushing and the derlin bushing of an upper control arm.

Anyways, I am curious to what master and brake kit you went with. I have a hydroboost on my 68 and will be going 4 wheel disk over the winter. Right now the drums are very touchy with the Hydro. I would like them to have some ability to modulate.

Call Carl or Hector for the hose on the pickup. They supply them for the Vaporworx tank pickups and look like the exact hoses you need. You would just have to supply the length needed and they can duplicate the GTO module setup but have it snap right onto the ZL1 module.

I just re read your post again and review the pic. Is the corrugated black hose the output on the GTO. If yes, the ZL1 output is on the top of the module, there is no return. The nipple on the ZL1 is the pickup FYI. Sorry if you know that.

I kept the same CPP /Wilwood set-up........4 piston up front and the Seville rear set-up...........They actually work very well when the system is sized and matched correctly...........After I posted I realized that Hector had exactly what I needed........(that's what I have in the Chevelle.....Duhhhhh!!!!)

LOL, I hear ya. We are used so used to a return system that returnless seems too simple. What size bore is your new master cylinder?

You're going to have to hire people to drive them for you. Love that 57. I assume that's getting a blower too?

Really? You know the LS3 480 won't cut it. You already have experience with this!

There are actually quite a few people I know between the Chicago burbs and SE WI...

I am the farthest away, but I can be convinced to come to GLD.

Correct
On the zl1 pump the main pickup is on the bottom of the bucket, the male nipple is for a second and third pickup if desired. A hose would come off the nipple and then "Y" into two seperate pickups on either end of the tank, mainly used for the guys that do the auto x stuff, that is how the vaporworx tanks are set up. On your tank you will need to plug or remove the nipple you welded to your tank, as the output is on top of the fuel module.

I think I saw on your chevelle you have the pump with the PWM set up, on the Impala you need to change the fuel pressure regulator on the zl1 pump to a 4th gen fuel pressure regulator part # Delphi FP10021 or Delphi FP10075 and a fuel pressure regulator adaptor that Vaporworx sells, this is if you won't be using the PWM set up so you will have the correct 58 p.s.i. If you are going to use the PWM on the impala you would just install the pump as is with the zl1 fuel pressure regulator.

That's the kind of info that a guy can't get anywhere else.......I will be using the Vaporworx set-up from Carl and I ordered a strainer sock to install over the extra pickup.......

Thanks Lizeec
